Hey, this is for all of my future home buyers out there. If you're thinking about buying a home this year, before you just go click on the Schedule Now and just go with any agent that happens to show up for that property, I want you to think about, would you do that if you were picking out a doctor? Or a lawyer?
I mean, the reality is buying a home is a big deal. It's a big purchase. So don't rely on chance. Look at the agent's reviews, get someone who is not just a glorified door opener. The reality is all the agents here at Caprika, we spend time every month talking about what should you look for at a home? We talked about how to do the negotiations.
I mean, talk about in the home. No joke., We actually go to the properties together and we look at it almost how a home inspector looks at it? What do we do? No, we're not licensed home inspectors, but we have the same conversations. We talk about what's going on with the roof. We talk about the windows, the siding, the HVAC, etc.
Why? Because we know that these things cost a lot of money. And the last thing we want to do is get you excited, get you under contract, and then have the deal blow up with the home inspection because you find out that these things are old and busted. Or how about you go through with the deal and you get in, and then you regret it because these things are in really poor shape.
Now, I'm sure you're thinking, well, what if it's still a great house and a great deal? Sure. That's cool. But don't you want to know that before you go under contract? At least that's the way I look at it, right?
So our whole team, we spend the time to learn and train on those things so we can take care of you. Now, I'm not saying that you have to use us. Of course, we'd love to help you buy a home. But no matter who you use, make sure that they are going to be your advocate, that they're going to be your consultant. They're going to be your trusted person. Don't just go get a glorified door opener. Don't leave it to chance.
Buying a home is a big deal. I don't care if it's $100,000 or $5 million, it's a lot of money to you. So let's do this smartly.
